Pass the Caribou Stew

Claim- In this essay, Maureen Dowd attacks Sarah Palin for her stance on hunting on often. Dowd says Palin's claim that she hunts to feed her family is ridiculous.
Concession- Palin uses hunting as a way to show her toughness to voters.
The caribou are very helpless creatures.
It costs more to get to the hunting grounds then to simply buy the food.
Palin takes a full camera crew with her.
It costs more to get to the hunting grounds then to simply buy the food
-she takes two planes to get there
-she has to buy guns and ammo
-pay for camping expenses
-paying for the crew's expenses
I agree with my author because Palin does what she does only to get attention. She tries to show how tough she is by killing helpless animals. The claim that she is simply feeding her family is ridiculous.
